The project to upgrade the Nuclear Medicine service and bring SPECT CT to the RNOH is now underway. This is a fantastic step for the diagnostic service moving us towards becoming a world leading centre for MSK patients. As ever these projects are not completed overnight so there will be some changes to the flow of the scanning centre whilst these works are completed. Until April 2010 there will be a temporary reception and waiting area, the patient flow into all scanners (MRIs and CT) will be limited to one corridor. This will mean that things are a little cramped however we feel this is a manageable and the gains will by far outweigh the small period of disruption. Please bear with us during this time.
