A message from Dominic Dodd, RNOH Chair: I am delighted to let you know that, following a full competitive process, the non-executive directors have appointed Professor Paul Fish as substantive Chief Executive of the RNOH.
As interim CEO, Paul has led the organisation through the pandemic with distinction whilst shaping our new strategy for growth. He brings with him a calm and people-based leadership style which will be vital to leading us through the difficult challenges ahead. Paul will commence his new role with immediate effect, and we will now start the process for recruiting a new Chief Nurse.
On his appointment, Paul said: “I am both delighted and honoured to have been appointed Chief Executive of the RNOH. The work that you do personally and we do collectively as a trust is critical work for the NHS. Over the coming years, I want us to grow, to extend the reach of our influence and leadership in musculoskeletal medicine, to become more sustainable as an organisation and, most importantly, to be able to improve the lives of ever greater numbers of patients.”
I would also like to take the opportunity once again to pass on the board’s gratitude for the many contributions made over many years by our former Chief Executive, Rob Hurd. We continue to wish Rob well in his system leader role in North Central London.
Please join me in thanking Rob for everything he has done for the RNOH and in congratulating Paul on his appointment.
Very best wishes,
Dominic Dodd
RNOH Chair
