Today, Friday 10 May, is International Nurses' Day at RNOH and we celebrated the fabulous work of all our nursing staff with refreshments, music, massages, raffle prizes and, of course, cake!
International Nurses’ Day takes place in May to coincide with the birthday of Florence Nightingale and provides an opportunity to recognise and celebrate our fantastic and highly skilled nursing colleagues. The event was opened by Chief Nurse Louise Morton who also drew the prize raffle tickets.
Our Nursing Leadership team was also out-and-about on the day visiting colleagues on the wards and at Bolsover Street.
Thank you to everyone who attended - and to all our wonderful nurses at RNOH, across the NHS and around the world who dedicate themselves to helping others.
A HUGE thank you to RNOH Charity for supporting Nurses' Day!
